Privacy Policy — Unmidify

DeskWolf LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Unmidify mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal data when you use the Service. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Videos you upload — transmitted for the sole purpose of generating a content analysis. Videos are deleted from our servers immediately after analysis (typically within 60 seconds).
Audio transcripts — generated from your uploaded video. Retained only for the duration needed to generate your roast.
Performance statistics (optional) — views, likes, comments, shares, days posted. Used to generate reality-check analysis; not retained beyond that analysis.
Onboarding responses — platform preference, posting volume, content struggles, self-identified commitment level. Stored locally on your device only.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

IP address, approximate geographic region, operating system version — used for abuse prevention only.
Timestamps of roast requests, video duration, anonymized scoring statistics — used to compute community percentile. No personally identifiable information is stored with these statistics.
Subscription data — RevenueCat and Apple/Google handle payment processing.

1.3 Information Stored Locally On Your Device

The following data never leaves your device:

Your streak history
Your Ideal Posts library (up to 10 videos with their analyses)
Your roast history
Your app preferences

You can delete all of this by uninstalling the app or using the "Delete My Data" option in Settings.

2. How We Use Information

Generate your content roast analysis
Prevent abuse via rate limiting
Compute anonymous community statistics
Process subscription payments
Respond to support inquiries
Improve our AI prompts and scoring algorithms (in aggregate, non-identifiable form)

We do not sell your data, share videos with third parties, use your content for AI model training, or serve third-party advertising.

3. AI Processing Disclosure

Your videos are analyzed by Anthropic's Claude (content analysis) and OpenAI's Whisper (audio transcription). Keyframes and audio are transmitted via HTTPS for the sole purpose of generating your roast. Neither service retains your inputs for model training per their enterprise API terms. We do not retain video content or complete transcripts beyond the generation of your roast.

5. Your Rights

5.1 Data Access and Deletion

View your local data at any time via the Settings screen
Delete all your data via Settings → "Delete My Data"
Cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store / Play Store account settings

5.2 California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information). Email contact@deskwolf.ai to exercise these rights.

5.3 EU / UK Residents (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest for abuse prevention. Email contact@deskwolf.ai.

6. Children's Privacy

Unmidify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Service is rated 12+ and recommended for users 13 and older.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures: HTTPS encryption, rate limiting, immediate deletion of uploaded content after processing, no long-term storage of video content, environment-variable-based secret management. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy
